Blair Sandburg looked up as the team from Major Crime dragged into the bullpen.  They looked so tired after the completion of the twenty-hour bust, but satisfied as well… the bad guys had been caught.

After more than three weeks of intense legwork and surveillance, they had successfully closed down a drug cartel and had managed to round up all the players without major injury on either side.  Blair wondered how to tell the group of exhausted men what he'd just learned.

Even as tired as he was, Jim immediately noticed something was wrong with his partner.  "What's up, Chief?"

"They came on the air a while ago," Blair glanced back at the radio hoping for inspiration then continued.  "The news reported four explosions in London, three in the train system and one on a double decker bus.  It was morning rush hour there," Blair sighed. "They have thirty seven confirmed dead and an unknown number of injured." He trailed off and then started again more softly, "I haven't been able to contact either Rhonda or Steven.  They were scheduled to take a quick tour of downtown before Steven's business meeting.  Then they were heading off to do some more sight seeing."

Jim slumped into his chair and picked up the phone.  "Sally?  Hi, it's Jim.  Have you heard?  Yeah….  Have you heard anything from Steven?  No.  Me either.  I'll make some calls and see what I can find out.  Let me know if you hear anything.  And Sally," Jim paused for a moment, "I love you."  He disconnected the line and quickly placed another call.  "Major John Rodgers, please.  Yes, tell him it's Captain James Ellison."

Jim looked up into the worried eyes of his co-workers and shrugged.  "He's someone I know from when I was in the Army.  Last time I heard he was…" Jim stopped suddenly and resumed his phone conversation.  "Hey JJ, long time no see."  Jim smirked then responded, "Yeah, yeah, `who dares wins.'  JJ, you remember that favor you owe me?  I need to collect it today.  My brother Steven and his fiancée are in London and we haven't been able to contact them.  Would you find them for me and make sure they are okay?  Yeah, I'll fax over a current picture and the contact info I have.  Thanks JJ."

Jim hung up the phone and pulled up a copy of his brother's itinerary from his computer e-mail program.  He added the picture of Steven and Rhonda, a gift he'd gotten in the mail just a few days ago, taken on the first leg of their trip.  He said a quick prayer, faxed everything to his friend, and then waited.  That was all anyone could do now.  Just wait.
